The Nethercutt Collection
Nethercutt Museum Tour
The Nethercutt Collection features collectibles ranging from mechanical instruments and antique furniture to the true heart of the collection, over 250 American and European automobiles dating from 1898 to 1997.
The entire collection is housed in two beautifully appointed exhibit buildings. The Museum houses the Nethercutt Automotive Research Library and Archives, one of the world’s top automotive research facilities. Just steps outside are a resplendently restored steam locomotive and railcar.
Unique to automobile museums, each car on display is attentively serviced and maintained to remain as drivable as when the vehicle originally rolled off the showroom floor. On view are various Pebble Beach Concours d”Elegance winners and cars once owned by movie stars, royalty and other notable personalities.
Among the treasures spanning four floors in the collections original facility is an outstanding assortment of beautifully restored antique, classic automobiles. They are showcased in an exquisite re-creation of an opulent automotive grand salon of the 1020s and 1930s. There is an amazing collection of automobile mascots, antique furniture, clocks and watches, and one of the world’s finest collections of Mechanical Musical Instruments.
This tour is offered Thursday, both morning and afternoon, there is a fee of $20 per participant.
